Attention State University and High School Students: Satisfy Your College Philosophy Requirement in a Christ-Centered Online Environment!
This post discusses an online philosophy course that I will be teaching in a few months. Please consider passing this along to any students that might be interested in this opportunity.
State universities typically require students to take a philosophy course as part of their general education curriculum. This can often be a faith-threatening experience for Christian students in a secular environment. But now you can study philosophy without putting your faith at risk.
For the first time, Indiana Wesleyan University is offering an introductory-level History of Philosophy course specifically designed for students who are either at a state university or still in high school.
This 14-week online course (January 9-April 27, 2017) will expose you to the leading issues, figures, and eras in the history of western philosophy from a Christian perspective. And it will do so in an environment that teaches you how to think critically and defend your views with rigor and respect.
After successfully completing this course, you will transfer the earned credit back to your current university. Or, if you are a high school student, you will enter college with this requirement already satisfied.
