Focus on the Family President and Gay Rights Activist Discuss Their Friendship and Common Foe

This video appeared at the end of my most recent lesson that evangelicals can learn from Brian McLaren ("Bridges not Walls"). If you didn't read that particular blog entry, you probably didn't see this video— which is why I am reposting separately today.

Do yourself a favor and watch this amazing conversation between Jim Daly, President of Focus on the Family, and Ted Trimpa, a leading gay rights activist. If this level of kindness, generosity and civility can emerge between these two men, imagine what other kinds of bridges can be built in our deeply divided world.
